  • The ins and outs of what our warranty extends to

    Even if you didn’t buy the sink, mixer, or accessory, if it’s in the original home, we’ve got your back.

    Any goods sold by Styl Design or its authorised distributors/dealers and only where the goods are used and serviced within Australia.

    Before installing, check the good(s) for any defects. DON’T install if you find anything wrong. Instead, contact us straight away. Installing this product means both you and the installer have deemed it acceptable.

    Where Styl deems it appropriate, various visible components and products requiring only minor rectification under guarantee may be supplied on a “parts only” basis to the customer.

  • What the warranty does not cover

    Damage or failure resulting from accidental impact, misuse or negligence.

    Unsuitable use or maintenance, malfunction of goods due to dodgy installation, incorrect repairs and repairs made by unauthorised technicians, unauthorised alterations, the use of non-original spare parts, modifications or substitutions of any parts of the product or item in question.

    The installation is the responsibility of the customer. We strongly recommend having a qualified installer perform the task, and all plumbing to be done by a registered/licensed plumber in accordance with state/territory laws.

    Consumable components such as flow controller, plug and waste, and fittings

    Rusting, scratching, normal wear and tear, discolouration, spotting, damage by chemicals/cleaning products, corrosion caused by carbon steel items.

    Damage due to excessive heat, such as thermal shock; hot pots placed on the drainer, sink, or cutting board surface. i.e. anything that exceeds the recommended maximum heat resistance of the individual product. For details, refer to our care guide(s)

    Imperfections in the finish or in the natural materials used should not be considered as a fault but rather a typical characteristic of these crafted products

    Outdoor use unless placed in an alfresco area with a solid roof covering and a minimum of 2 walls.

    We don’t refund or accept returns in the case of change of mind, you no longer want the goods, you don’t like them, or have ordered a product in the wrong size or colour.

    Charges may apply for non-warranty services performed.

    All costs of re-installation, relocation, cartage, freight, mileage expenses and insurance associated with this warranty and services are to be paid for by the person making the claim.

    The repair or replacement of a product during the warranty period is at the discretion of Styl or its authorised representatives. If we replace a product or part, the warranty remains based on the original date of purchase.

  • The Legal Jargon

    Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to:

    – cancel your service contract with us, and
    – refund for the unused portion, or
    – reimbursement for its reduced value.

    You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods.

    If a failure with the goods or a service does amount to a “major failure”, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to reimbursement for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.

    Notwithstanding the preceding clause, the liability of Styl in respect of a breach of a customer guarantee of any warranty made under these warranty terms and conditions for any goods not of a kind ordinarily acquired via personal, domestic or household use is limited, in relation to the goods to the extent permissible by law at the option of Styl:

    – any increased costs or expenses,
    – any loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts or anticipated savings,
    – any loss or expense resulting from a claim by a third party, or;
    – any special, indirect or consequential loss or damage of any nature
    whatsoever caused by Styl’s failure in complying with its obligations.

  • What if I change my mind?

    We understand that mistakes can happen, and we’re here to help if you ordered the wrong product.

    If you contact customercare@styldesign.com.au within 7 days of receiving your sink, we will guide you through the exchange process. Once you have returned the original sink to us and we confirm that it is in a sellable condition, we will send your replacement on the same day. (Kindly note, goods need to be returned in their original packaging).

    If there is any price difference, we will either provide you with store credit or charge you the difference. Please note that any expenses incurred for returning the sink and shipping the replacement will be your responsibility.     (Please note that we do not offer refunds. Exchanges or store credit only.)

  • My product arrived damaged, what do I do?

    We make sure that your product(s) are checked all over and packed safely and securely before being sent to you. To not delay or impact your installation, we ask that on receipt of your product(s) please check the goods as soon as they arrive, just to be safe!

    If you do notice transit damage, please communicate with our customer care team within 48 hrs of receiving your delivery so we can assess how to best help you. You can do so via, contact form, email customercare@styldesign.com.au or call us at 1300 798 260.
